Veterinary Rules

All participants must comply with the veterinary regulations of Hungary. Each dog must have a valid vaccination certificate, including up-to-date rabies vaccination. This document must be presented at registration. Three-year rabies vaccinations are accepted, as long as they are valid in the dog’s country of origin. See the following page for more information about entering Hungary with dogs:

All dogs must be in good physical condition and free from injury or illness. Participation of ill or injured dogs is not permitted. Dogs must not be affected in any way intended to alter their performance, appearance, or behavior, including measures aimed at concealing pain, injury, or illness.

At registration, each dog will be individually checked by an on-site veterinarian to confirm fitness to participate. This check is brief, respectful, and focused on the well-being of the dogs.

Dogs that have undergone surgical procedures for non-medical reasons (e.g. cropped ears or tails) are allowed to participate as long as they were born before 2025. Cropped or docked dogs born since January 2025 are not allowed to participate.
