Unofficial Events - MultiPuller

MultiPuller is a series of minigames with pullers that are always played by teams of two. At the World Championship we are planning to host the following MultiPuller games.

Human Running

Human Running is very similar to the regular running discipline, but it is played by two humans (and no dogs), one of them taking on the role of the dog. The performance takes place on the micro running field, lasts 60 seconds, and at 40 seconds the team members switch roles. Before the switching of roles the current throw-catch-fetch sequence may be finished. A puller thrown before the end signal may still be brought back after time is up. Scoring is identical to the running discipline:

Sharpshooter

Sharpshooter is a game of accuracy. The performance lasts 60 seconds and it is played without dogs using a 10x10 meter square. Three gates/hoops are placed along the imaginary central line of the square, they are numbered 1-2-3. The team gets 4 midi size pullers which they can distribute among themselves in any way. Each team member stands outside the square on the opposite sides of the gates.

After the start signal they try to complete the 1-2-3 sequence of gates as many times as possible by throwing/rolling the pullers through the gates. The gates must be completed in the correct sequence, each correctly completed gate is worth 1 point. Pullers may only be thrown using a downward motion, using an upward motion or throwing like discs is not allowed and will not score points.

Thrown pullers may be picked up on the other side and used again, but it is forbidden to step into the square or to touch the ground inside, doing to results in the halving of points received so far. If the team runs out of pullers before 60 seconds, then the game ends sooner.

Puller Packing

Puller Packing is played by teams of two handlers and two dogs, designated "dog A" and "dog B". The performance lasts 60 seconds and takes place on the micro running field. The two running zones will be used as starting zones, also designated "zone A" and "zone B". There are 4+4 midi size pullers placed on the ground in "zone A" and "zone B".

After the start signal, "dog A" must take as many pullers from "zone A" to "zone B" as possible, while at the same time "dog B" is doing the same, but from "zone B" to "zone A". Each puller picked up from the correct zone and placed on the ground in the opposite zone is worth 1 point.

If the dog drops the puller prematurely, it can be picked up again and placed in the correct zone to score a point. Pullers must not touch the ground outside of the painted squares, otherwise the team gets a penalty of -1 point each time. Handlers must not touch the dogs or any of the pullers, otherwise the team gets a penalty of -1 point each time.
